Overall, SWFL Real Estate Review for May 26th shows there were 149 properties sold during the Week in Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and Estero. This is down from the prior week when 187 properties sold. As expected for this time of year, the number of properties sold are starting to decrease as we are officially in our off-season.
Unlike last week, Fort Myers took the top spot in Lee County with the most real estate sales with 65 properties sold, down from 66 the previous week. Estero was second with 43 real estate transactions versus 48 properties sold the prior week. And, Bonita Springs finished the week with 39 transactions which is significantly down from the week before when there were 73 sales.
So, of the 65 properties sold in Ft. Myers, 11 percent were condos, 58 percent were single family homes and 25 percent were vacant lots. The remaining properties sold were multi-family units and commercial units.
Additionally, of the 43 closings in Estero, 39 percent were single family homes, 28 percent were vacant lots and 33 percent were condos.
Finally, Bonita Springs finished the week with a total of 39 properties sold, 28.5 percent were vacant lots, 33 percent were condos and 38.5 percent were single family homes.
In summary, your Lee County Homes Sold Report shows 71 single family homes, 35 condos, 39 vacant lots, 1 multi-family unit and 3 commercial units sold during the week.
