May 19thOverall, Real Estate Review the Week of May 19th shows there were 187 properties sold during the Week in Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and Estero. This is down from the prior week when 204 properties sold.

Unlike the previous week, Bonita Springs took the top spot in Lee County with the most real estate sales with 73 properties sold, down from 88 the previous week.  Fort Myers was second with 66 real estate transactions versus 83 properties sold the prior week. And, Estero finished the week with 48 transactions compared to 38 sales the week before.

So, of the 73 properties sold in Bonita Springs, 29 percent were condos, 44 percent were single family homes and 22 percent were vacant lots.  The remaining properties sold were mobile homes and commercial units.

Additionally, of the 66 closings in Ft. Myers, 48 percent were single family homes, 15 percent were vacant lots and 15 percent were condos.  The remaining property sold in Fort Myers were multi-family unites, commercial units and agricultural lots.

Finally,  Estero finished the week with a total of 48 properties sold, 10 percent were vacant lots, 38 percent were condos and 48 percent were single family homes. So, the remaining sales were mobile homes.

In summary, your Lee County Homes Sold Report shows 87 single family homes, 49 condos, 40 vacant lots, 5 mobile homes, 2 multi-family units, 2 commercial units and 2 agricultural lots sold during the week. Similar to the prior week, there was a wide variety of properties sold in the area.

  • 34134 – 18 properties sold (1 mobile home, 8 single family homes and 9 condos)
  • 34135 – 55 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 2 mobile homes, 16 vacant lots, 24 single family homes and 12 condos)

Fort Myers

  • 33912 – 15 properties sold (1 vacant lot, 8 single family homes and 6 condos)
  • 33913 – 26 properties sold (2 agricultural lots, 9 vacant lots, 11 single family homes and 4 condos)
  • 33967 – 25 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 2 multi-family units, 9 vacant lots and 13 single family homes)

Estero

  • 33928 – 32 properties sold (2 mobile homes, 5 vacant lots, 15 single family homes and 10 condos)
  • 33967 – 5 properties sold (5 single family homes)
  • 34134 – 2 properties sold (1 single family home and 1 condo)
  • 34135 – 9 properties sold (2 single family homes and 7 condos)
