Kinsale Golf Club is a new luxury golf community in the development stages in Naples Florida. This exclusive country club will feature an 18 hole championship golf course designed by renowned golf course architects Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner. Located just east of Kalea Bay, the course will cater to players at all skill levels.

Membership is projected to be capped at 250 golf members. The course is projected to be open from October through May and closed during the summer months for maintenance.  The course is tentatively scheduled to open during the fall of 2024.

The club will be owned and operated by an affiliate of Soave Enterprises out of Michigan.

Golden Gate Golf Course was a public golf course in Golden Gate City in East Naples. The county purchased the course and will be redeveloped in partnership with Arthrex.

The National Golf and Country Club

The National Golf & Country Club is the newest bundled golf community in the Naples area. The golf course was designed by Gordon Lewis and opened in the fall of 2020. In addition to the new golf course, golf members will have access to a brand new driving range, chipping area and putting green.

All homes come with either a golf membership or a social membership. All homeowners will have access to a large resort-style pool, Chickee Bar, 6 Har-Tru Tennis Courts, 8 Pickleball courts and 2 Bocce ball courts. For those interested in health and wellness, a brand new Fitness Center with organized classes is open to all members. The facility also includes saunas as well as a nail and beauty salon.

Additionally, features both a Grill Room and a formal Dining Room. Finally, this new construction golf community will have a total of 1,279 homes when fully built out.

Wyndemere Living

Wyndemere living at its finest!  Wyndemere is a private golf club located in Naples, Florida.  The club sets itself apart from other Naples golf communities due to its lush and mature landscaping which is beautifully manicured.

Furthermore, there are 16 unique neighborhoods situated on 450 acres of scenic preserves.  In all, there are a total of 634 properties in the development.  Residents can purchase estate homes, single family homes, villas, and condos.

Wyndemere Golf

If you are a golf enthusiast or just a casual player, Wyndemere Golf Club features a 27 hole championship golf course.  The course was designed by world-renowned architect Arthur Hills.  The club caters to players of all skill levels.  There are 8 different tee boxes available for you to choose from.  In addition to the course, the club also has world-class practice facilities.  There is a driving range with tee boxes at both ends, a short game practice area, chipping green and large putting green.

Wyndemere Tennis

Wyndemere’s tennis program is known for being one of the best programs in Naples.  The club features 10 Har-Tru clay tennis courts. As an added benefit, there is a grandstand for special events.  For members who prefer to play during the evening, there are four lighted courts.

And as a resident, you have multiple tennis leagues to choose from regardless of your skill level.  Members can participate in weekly early morning drop-ins, in-house leagues or mixed doubles matches.  You can also book an individual court on your own.  Finally, a fully stocked tennis shop offers a wide array of equipment and apparel to support your tennis needs.

Wyndemere Fitness

Wyndemere is recognized as one of America’s Healthiest Clubs. Residents have a wide variety of physical activities to choose from.  In addition to the fantastic golf and tennis facilities, Wyndemere recently added Bocce Ball and Pickle Ball Courts.

However, if you prefer a low impact fitness option, head to the resort-style swimming pool for water aerobics. Or you can take advantage of one of three dedicated lap lanes. Fortunately, the pool is heated so you can enjoy it all year long!

As if that’s not enough, the community includes a fully staffed Fitness Center with Personal Trainers and Group Exercise Classes.  So, from Yoga to Pilates, there’s a fitness option for everyone in your family.

Wyndemere Dining

At the center of the community is a newly renovated, 51,000 square foot clubhouse.  The club offers several dining options. For instance, you can relax after a round of golf on the Vista Terrace which overlooks the ninth green of the golf course.  Or, if you prefer a more formal dining experience head inside to the main clubhouse.

Plus, during season, the Tiebreaker Cafe provides residents with a much more casual dining option.  As a resident, you are able to order breakfast all day and lunch until 3:00 pm in the cafe.  Or, if you are looking for something a little lighter, enjoy a fresh smoothie on the covered terrace.

Similarly, you can also grab a snack from the cafe and head over to the poolside.  Enjoy a beverage and a meal while you relax by the resort-style infinity pool.

Moreover, no matter where you decide to dine, friendly attentive staff will be available to assist you and your family.

Amblewood

Amblewood is a community of 42 townhomes located along Amblewood Lane in Wyndemere Country Club.  This is a neighborhood of two-story condos.  Each condo building contains four or five units per building.  Residents enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle which is ideal for full-time or part-time homeowners. Amblewood homes range from 1,550 to 1,941 square feet of living space.  Finally, units are available in three different floor plans.

Coco Plum (Golf Cottages)

Coco Plum is a unique neighborhood of golf cottages within Wyndemere.  There are a total of 36 homes ranging in size from 1,900 to 2,500 square feet of living space. A majority of the homes in Coco Plum have a scenic golf course view. Properties in Coco Plum are spacious and private with a maintenance-free lifestyle.  Wyndemere golf cottages were built between 1986 and 1995.

Courtside Commons

Courtside Commons is a Wyndemere community consisting of 6 condominium buildings.  There are 53 condos ranging from 1,200 to 1,400 square feet of living space.  These quaint condos are conveniently located within walking distance of the clubhouse, tennis courts, fitness center, and spa.  Each unit includes covered parking and an enclosed storage area. Courtside condos were built between 1985 and 1987.

Cypress Commons

Cypress Commons, a neighborhood in Wyndemere Country Club, includes 85 condominiums. Units range in size from 1,760 to 2,241 square feet of living space.  Condos overlook a mature wooded area, golf course or a beautiful lake.  Cypress Commons condos are just a short walk away from the clubhouse, golf course, tennis courts, and fitness center.  Each condo comes with a covered parking space and an enclosed storage area. These condos were built between 1982  and 1996.

Edgewood

Edgewood is a Wyndemere golf community consisting of 26 single family homes.  These one and two-story homes range in size from 1,870 to 3,001 square feet of living space. All homes in Edgewood are located along the sixth hole of the Gold Course and face east-west.

Estates

The Estates is an exclusive neighborhood of 7 luxury single family custom homes located in Wyndemere Country Club.  Each Estate home is located on a large wooded lot overlooking the golf course. They were built between 1990 and 1998.  Properties range in size from 3,100 to 7,900 square feet of living space.

Glen Meadow

Glen Meadow is a unique neighborhood of 13 one and two-story single-family detached villas within Wyndemere.  This small enclave of homes overlook the fourth hole of the Gold Course and are situated on a quiet street with almost no traffic. Glen Meadow homes are 2,500 to 3,000 square feet under air.

Glendevon

Glendevon is a neighborhood of 36 single family homes and attached villas conveniently located near the community’s private clubhouse, fitness center, community pool, and tennis courts.  Homes range from 2,306 to 2,616 square feet. Glendevon homes were built between 1990 and 1995.

Grasmere

Grasmere at Wyndemere is a unique neighborhood of 48 single-family homes located in Wyndemere Country Club. These luxurious custom homes were built between 1990 and 1998 and range from 2,400 to 4,000 square feet.  Grasmere homes are known for their extensive upgrades both inside and out.  They all have breathtaking views of the lake and golf course.

Lodgings

The Lodgings is a community of single family homes within Wyndemere.  Homes were built starting in the early 1980s and were completed during the mid-nineties.  These luxury homes are located on wide estate lots and feature expansive lanais and private pools with spas.  Homes in the Lodgings range in size from 2,200 to 5,000 square free of living space.

Mahogany Bend

Mahogany Bend is a neighborhood of 91 single family homes located in Wyndemere Country Club.  Homes are situated on large lots that average approximately one-third acre. A variety of architecture is available from contemporary to traditional to the Mediterranean.  Several of the Mahogany Bend homes include exceptional golf course views.

Mahogany Run

Mahogany Run is a collection of 15 single-family detached villas built in the mid-eighties to the early nineties.  Mahogany Run homes overlook the Gold course and offer some of the best views of the course and nature preserves.  There are three distinct floor plans ranging from 2,245 to 3,290 square feet of living space.

Preserve at Wyndemere (Pond Apple Reserve)

Pond Apple Reserve is a neighborhood of attached villas in Wyndemere Country Club.  Villas overlook either the golf course or a beautiful lake.  There are 36 villas ranging in size from 2,184 to 3,224 square feet of Living Space.  Preserve villas include two-car garages, private pools, and spas.

Rosemeade

Rosemeade features 29 custom single-family homes along a quiet cul-de-sac in Wyndemere Country Club.  One of the newest and most desirable locations within the entire development, Rosemeade homes offer breathtaking views of the golf course. Each home ranges from 3,000 to 7,400 square feet of living space.

Villa Floresta

Villa Floresta is a private community within Wyndemere consisting of 64 single family villas.  A community within a community, the secluded entrance welcomes residents with multiple fountains and exceptional landscaping.  The European-style architecture sets Villa Floresta apart from any other neighborhood in Wyndemere.  Homes range in size from 1,825 to 2,462 square feet of living space. Villa Floresta homes were built between 1987 and 1992.

Villages

Water Oaks

Water Oaks in Wyndemere includes 55 one and two-story attached villas. Homes range in size from 1,651 to 2,058 square feet of living space.  Water Oaks villas offer scenic views of picturesque lakes and the White Golf Course.  Conveniently located near the clubhouse and a host of club amenities.  Villas were built between 1985 and 2000.

Mediterra living at its finest!  Mediterra is an exclusive golf community located in Naples, Florida. Play smart, know where to miss it.  When you have an approach shot to the green, going straight to the pin is often not the best choice.  Evaluate the best place to have your ball land in case you miss the green.  Avoid leaving your ball so close to the side where the pin is placed that you do not have much green to use for your pitch or chip shot.  Look at the way the green slopes so that your ball will not run off the green or away from the hole after it lands.  Look for slopes behind the ball that can act as a backstop if you go a little long.  Plan your shot based on what the hole gives you, play smart, and you will score better.

How you grip the club plays a major role in how the clubface approaches the ball.  A strong grip is one that has the hands rolled toward the right or under the handle and will shut the face and cause a hook.  A weak grip is one that has the hands turned to the left and will cause a slice or a fade.  To simplify your grip, try to have the Vs created by your hands and thumbs pointing toward your right cheek.  Starting with this neutral grip will allow the club to return to square at impact rather than having you make some swing adjustment to compensate for a strong or weak hand position.  It may take a little time to get used to the neutral grip, but your shots will soon fly straighter than ever before.

New Construction Naples Florida

One way to gauge the market is to look at the new construction housing market.  Check out the number of new homes that are sold before they are completed.  If it is a lot, it shows supply isn’t keeping up with demand.  As a result people snap up new homes earlier in the construction process.

During the housing boom, 75 percent of new construction homes were sold prior to completion.  During the housing recession, that number dropped to about 50 percent.  Right now it’s hovering at 66 percent which would be considered on the slow side according to housing economist Jed Kolko.  Builders continue to sell new construction homes in Naples golf communities.

Conde Nast Traveler named Naples among The 30 Best Small Cities in America from its 2014 Reader’s Choice Awards.  Naples is ranked No. 20 just ahead of Monterey, California. Conde Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards are based on voluntary questionnaire answered by 76,659 people. To be eligible to make the list, cities must receive a required minimum number of responses, and individual cities are judged on a set of criteria relevant to their category.  Ratings are based on a standard five-point scale: excellent, very good, good, fair, and poor.
