February Lee County Home SalesOverall, the first February Lee County Home Sales report shows there were 144 properties sold during the week of February 3rd through February 10th in Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and Estero.  This was a 7 percent increase in sales compared to the previous week when there were only 135 real estate transactions.

Once again, Fort Myers took the lead with the most real estate sales for the week at 51 properties.  Estero was a close second with 50 properties sold.  And Bonita Springs finished the week with the third most activity, coming in with 42 units sold.

Additionally, of the 51 closings in Ft. Myers, 41 percent were single family homes, 20 percent were vacant lots and 27 percent were condos.  The remaining properties sold in Ft. Myers were a combination of commercial units, multi-family units and vacant lots.

Estero also rounded out the week strong with a total of 50 properties sold, 42 percent of which were vacant lots, 24 percent were condos and 18 percent were single family homes. So, the remaining sales included mobile homes and a commercial unit.

Finally, Bonita Springs ended the week with 42 properties sold, 48 percent were condos and 36 percent were single-family homes. The remaining properties sold were multi-family units, vacant lots and commercial units.

In summary, your South Florida Real Estate Review shows 49 single family homes, 46 condos, 38 vacant lots, 7 commercial buildings, 2 mobile homes and 2 multi-family units sold during the week.
