Weekly Real Estate Summary for Southwest Florida

Based on the latest Weekly Real Estate summary for the week of January 19th in the Southern Ft. Myers, Estero and Bonita Springs area, there were 113 properties sold.

Bonita Springs led the market with the most real estate sales. There were 54 properties sold during the week. Southern Fort Myers was in the second position with 30 properties sold. And, Estero was once again in the third position with 29 real estate transactions.

For the 54 real estate sales in Bonita Springs, 35 percent were condos, 11 percent were vacant lots and 41 percent were single family homes. The remaining transactions were coops, mobile homes, and multi-family units.

Also, of the 30 real estate transactions in South Ft. Myers, 30 percent were condos, 10 percent were vacant lots and 53 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold in the area were multi-family units and commercial units.

Lastly, of the 29 closings in Estero, 45 percent were condos, 17 percent were vacant lots and 31 percent were single family homes.
