Q3 Home Prices Down

According to the latest Home Sales Data Report by RealtyTrac, Q3 home prices are down in both Lee County and Collier County. Lee County’s average home price in the third quarter of 2015 totaled $188,358, down from $194,462 in the previous quarter but up from $177,004 in the third quarter of 2014.

The average home price in Collier County totaled $298,052 in the third quarter of this year, compared with $319,452 in the second quarter of 2015 and $281,370 in the third quarter of 2014.

Also in the report, Punta Gorda was named among metro areas with the highest share of cash sales—52.3 percent—in the third quarter.
