SW Florida Property Sales Return to Normal

Property Sales ReturnSo, property sales return to normal levels for the week of June 16th in Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and Estero.  There were 150 properties sold versus 455 properties sold during the week of June 9th.

Unlike last week, Bonita Springs had the most real estate sales with 63 properties sold, down from 154 the previous week. Fort Myers was second with 57 real estate transactions versus 186 properties sold the prior week. And, Estero finished the week with 29 transactions which is down from the week before when there were 108 sales.

So, of the 63 properties sold in Bonita Springs, 32 percent were condos, 29 percent were single family homes and 16 percent were vacant lots.  The remaining properties sold were mobile homes, multi-family units and commercial units.

Additionally, of the 57 closings in Ft. Myers, 37 percent were single family homes, 35 percent were vacant lots and 25 percent were condos. Therefore, the other properties sold in Fort Myers were commercial units.

Finally, Estero had 29 properties sold, 17 percent were vacant lots, 41 percent were condos and 31 percent were single family homes. Thus, the remaining real estate transactions in Estero were mobile homes and an agricultural lot.

In summary, Southwest Florida Property Sales Return to Normal for the week and are broken down as follows: 48 single family homes, 47 condos, 41 vacant lots, 6 mobile homes, 5 commercial units, 2 multi-family units and 1 agricultural lot sold during the week.

  • 34134 – 14 properties sold (1 mobile home, 1 commercial unit, 2 vacant lots, 5 single family homes and 5 condos)
  • 34135 – 49 properties sold (2 commercial units, 2 multi-family units, 3 mobile homes, 14 vacant lots, 13 single family homes and 15 condos)

Fort Myers

  • 33912 – 16 properties sold (2 vacant lots, 7 single family homes and 7 condos)
  • 33913 – 31 properties sold (2 commercial units, 14 vacant lots, 9 single family homes and 6 condos)
  • 33967 – 10 properties sold (4 vacant lots, 5 single family homes and 1 condo)


  • 33928 – 26 properties sold (1 agricultural lot, 2 mobile homes, 4 vacant lots, 8 single family homes and 11 condos)
  • 34134 – 1 property sold (1 vacant lot)
  • 34135 – 2 properties sold (1 single family home and 1 condo)


  • 33913 – 1 property sold (1 condo)
