Moorings Golf and Country Club Changes Name

The Moorings Country Club has a new name, the Moorings Golf and Country Club! The club is adding “Golf” to ensure the public is aware The Moorings Country Club is more than a club and includes an 18 hole golf course.

Additionally, the Moorings Golf and Country Club recently renovated the club house. Also, the country club is about to start re-grassing all 18 greens to improve the golf course. As a result, the course will be closed for the summer. The club is planning a grand reopening ceremony for early October.

The golf course originally opened in 1963 and was designed by Milton Link. The course is an executive 18-hole golf course which is a par-63 layout. The club is centrally located in the City of Naples just west of U.S. 41. And, it’s one of the few golf courses which allows golfers to walk or ride.
