June Southwest Florida Real Estate Sales

June Southwest Florida Real EstateThe June Southwest Florida Real Estate transactions report for the week of June 23rd in Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and Estero shows there were 284 properties sold versus 150 properties sold during the prior week.

Unlike last week, Fort Myers lead the real estate market with the most sales.  In all, there were 119 properties sold, significantly up from 57 the previous week. Estero moved into second for the week.  Overall there were 79 real estate transactions versus 29 properties sold the prior week. And, last but not least, Bonita Springs finished the week with 71 transactions which is up from the week before when there were 63 sales.

So, of the 119 properties sold in Ft. Myers, 8 percent were condos, 25 percent were single family homes and 63 percent were vacant lots.  The remaining properties sold were multi-family and commercial units.

Additionally, of the 79 closings in Estero, 23 percent were single family homes, 48 percent were vacant lots and 28 percent were condos. Therefore, the other properties sold in Bonita were agricultural lots.

Finally, Bonita Springs finished the week with 71 properties sold, 23 percent were vacant lots, 34 percent were condos and 28 percent were single family homes. Thus, the remaining real estate transactions in Bonita Springs were vacant lots and commercial units.

Even thought it’s summer, activity in Southwest Florida remains strong.  The June Southwest Florida Real Estate Review sales for the wee of the 23rd are broken down by the following property types: 78 single family homes, 56 condos, 132 vacant lots, 7 multi-family units, 5 mobile homes, 4 commercial units and 2 agricultural lot sold during the week.

  • 34134 – 17 properties sold (1 multi-family unit, 2 vacant lots, 5 single family homes and 9 condos)
  • 34135 – 54 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 6 multi-family units, 3 mobile homes, 14 vacant lots, 15 single family homes and 15 condos)

Fort Myers

  • 33912 – 21 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 1 mobile home, 2 vacant lots, 11 single family homes and 6 condos)
  • 33913 – 88 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 1 agricultural lot, 69 vacant lots, 14 single family homes and 3 condos)
  • 33967 – 10 properties sold (4 vacant lots, 5 single family homes and 1 condo)


  • 33928 – 68 properties sold (1 agricultural lot, 35 vacant lots, 14 single family homes and 18 condos)
  • 33967 – 1 property sold (1 single family home)
  • 34134 – 3 properties sold (1 vacant lot and 2 condos)
  • 34135 – 7 properties sold (2 vacant lots, 3 single family homes and 2 condos)
