Southwest Florida July Home Sales Review Week of July 11th

The latest July Home Sales Review for the week of July 11th showed there were 167 properties sold in Southwest Florida, which was up from 204 property sales during the prior week.

Southern Fort Myers remained in the top spot with 73 property sales compared to 91 during the previous week. Transactions were as follows: 34 percent vacant lots, 15 percent were condos and 48 percent were single family homes.

Bonita Springs remained in the second position with 52 real estate transactions down from 61 transactions the week before. Of the 52 real estate sales, 40 percent were condos, 37 percent were single family homes and 21 percent vacant lots. The remaining Bonita Springs transaction was a mobile home.

Finally, Estero stayed into the third position with 41 home sales versus 50 real estate transactions during the week of July 4th. Real Estate sales were split between multiple property types. Of the 41 home sales, 22 percent were vacant lots, 39 percent were condos and 32 percent were single family homes. The remaining Estero transactions were mobile homes and a coop.

In review, based on the real estate transactions report for the week of the 11th, property sales were broken down by the following types in Southwest Florida: 49 condos, 67 single family homes, 43 vacant lots, 4 mobile homes, 1 multi-family unit and 1 coop.
