Investor Sales are Down

Institutional investor sales are down in both Collier and Lee counties.  Institutional investors are entities which purchase at least 10 properties during a calendar year.  These investors accounted for 0.9 percent of all single-family and condo sales from January to June 2015 in the Cape Coral-Fort Myers metro area  Last year during the same time period institutional investors represented 4.1 percent of total sales according to a report by RealtyTrac. Institutional investors made up 0.5 percent of sales in Naples from January to June of this year, compared with 1.2 percent from the same period last year.
