Golf Tip – Double Bogies

Double BogiesIn most cases, double bogies or high scores on a hole are usually the result of hitting a poor drive and then following it up with a poor decision.  The last thing you want to do is try to force a shot through a narrow space between trees.  Or try hitting a three-wood out of thick rough.  Although it stinks, you want to get the ball back on the fairway as fast as possible.  This includes hitting the ball sideways or sometimes slightly backwards.  In the end you will probably avoid those double bogies or an even higher score.
