Florida is back at the top of the list as the Best Place To Live in America

The Harris Poll surveyed 2,232 U.S. adults online during a one week period in November of this year and when asked where they would most like to live, Florida came out on top for the first time since 2001.  Other states coming in near the top were California (2) and Hawaii (3).  A consistent theme among respondents for all three states was “Sunshine” and “Waterfront acreage”.  Rounding out  the top 5 states where Americans would like to live was Colorado (4) and New York (5).

Top Ten – Best Places to Live in the United States:

1. Florida
2. California
3. Hawaii
4. Colorado
5. New York
6. Texas
7. North Carolina
8. Arizona
9. Oregon
10. Tennessee

Year after year, Florida remains one of the top 3 states to live.  In addition to more than 300 days of sunshine we also have phenomenal beaches and a low cost of living with no state income tax!
