Florida Cash SalesOverall, Florida cash sales of homes during the month of July showed Florida leading the country with the highest share of cash sales.  Naples was at the top of the list with 50.2 percent of homes sales being a cash purchase.  Punta Gorda came in at 48.7 percent.

Florida cash sales being strong helps maintain an upward trend in home sales in the real estate market.  Year-to-date sales by volume were listed at 10,197 in the Cape Coral-Fort Myers metro area, up from 9,592 in 2014. Naples year-to-date sales by volume were at 6,505 in 2015, up from 6,438 the year before.
