Another Naples country club renovation was announced today. The Country Club of Naples will begin a $7.6 million renovation to the clubhouse starting Monday. One of the oldest clubs in Naples, it was build in 1962 and was previously known as the Big Cypress Golf and Country Club. In 1966 the club was purchased by the members and renamed to The Country Club of Naples.

The golf club is a private club with an initiation fee of $25,000 and annual dues of $10,807. Membership is limited to 290 full golf members. Other membership options are available including an associate membership, social membership and young executive golf membership.

The par 72, 18-hole golf course was designed by Bill Diddle in the early sixties and stretches 6,772 yards from the tips. The course is one of the few courses in Naples that allows members to walk instead of taking a golf cart. An ideal course for a wide variety of skill levels, the course offers 5 tee options for men and 3 tee options for women.
