Southwest Florida August Weekly Home Sales Recap
The latest Southwest Florida August Weekly Home Sales recap for Bonita Springs, Estero and Southern Fort Myers showed there were 243 properties sold during the week of the 14th which was down slightly from 260 sales during the previous week.
Southern Fort Myers remained in the number one position with 98 real estate transactions down from 112 during the prior week. Sales were as follows: 7 percent were commercial units. 30 percent vacant lots, 22 percent were condos and 40 percent were single family homes. The remaining Fort Myers property sold was a multi-family unit.
Estero moved up to the second position with 75 property sales which was one more than the first week of August when there were 74 Estero properties sold. Home sales were split between multiple property types. Of the 75 home sales, 55 percent were vacant lots, 25 percent were condos and 16 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold were mobile homes and a commercial unit.
Finally, Bonita Springs rounded out the week in the third position with 68 transactions compared to 73 property sales in the previous week. Of the 68 sales, 4 percent were commercial units, 22 percent were vacant lots, 29 percent were condos and 38 percent were single family homes. The other property sales were an agricultural lot, multi-family unit and a mobile home.
In review, based on the real estate transactions report for the week, property sales were broken down by the following types in Southwest Florida: 63 condos, 77 single family homes, 85 vacant lots, 11 commercial units, 4 mobile homes, 1 multi-family unit, and 1 agricultural lot.

- 33912 – 19 properties sold (6 commercial units, 3 single family homes and 10 condos)
- 33913 – 63 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 28 vacant lots, 24 single family homes and 10 condos)
- 33967 – 16 properties sold (1 multi-family unit, 1 vacant lot, 12 single family homes and 2 condos)
- 33928 – 67 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 2 mobile homes, 41 vacant lots, 10 single family homes and 13 condos)
