Southwest Florida April Weekly Home Sales Recap

SWFL March Weekly Home SalesThe latest Southwest Florida April Weekly Home Sales recap for Bonita Springs, Estero and Southern Fort Myers showed there were 333 properties sold during the week of the 23rd. The largest purchase of the week was Old Corkscrew Golf Club for $14,500,000 which was purchased by the Hoffman Group.

Southern Fort Myers was in the number one position with 150 real estate transactions. Sales were as follows: 49 percent vacant lots, 19 percent were condos and 30 percent were single family homes. The remaining Fort Myers properties sold were commercial units and multi-family units.

Bonita Springs was in the second position with 107 transactions. Of the 100 plus property sales, 4 percent were mobile homes, 20 percent were vacant lots, 36 percent were condos and 40 percent were single family homes.

Finally, Estero rounded out the week in the third spot with 75 property sales. Home sales were split between multiple property types. Of the 75 sales, 11 percent were mobile homes, 8 percent were vacant lots, 39 percent were condos and 41 percent were single family homes. The other property sold was a golf course.

In review, based on the real estate transactions report for the week, property sales were broken down by the following types in Southwest Florida: 96 condos, 119 single family homes, 101 vacant lots, 12 mobile homes, 2 commercial units, 2 multi-family units, and 1 golf course.
