South Lee County April Home Sales Off To A Strong Start

South Lee County April Home Sales are off to a great start. Based on the latest real estate transactions report for the week of April 6th in the Southern Ft. Myers, Estero and Bonita Springs area, there were 165 properties sold compared to 128 sales the previous week.

Unlike last week, Bonita Springs led the market with the most real estate transactions with 59 home sales versus 45 sales the week of March 30th. These sales consisted of 12 percent vacant lots, 31 percent single family homes and 44 percent were condos. The remaining units sold were coops, mobile homes and commercial units.

Estero moved into the second position with 46 property sales compared to 40 sales the week before. Of the 46 properties sold, 13 percent were vacant lots, 28 percent were condos and 54 percent were single family homes. So, the additional property sales in Estero were multi-family units and commercial units for the week.

Finally, S. Fort Myers rounded out the week with 46 real estate transactions compared to 61 properties sold the prior week. Of the 46 properties sold in S. Ft. Myers, 41 percent were vacant lots, 25 percent were condos and 29 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold during the week were mobile homes.

In review, based on the latest South Lee County April Home Sales report for the week of the 6th, sales were broken down by the following property types in Southwest Florida: 62 single family homes, 54 condos, 36 vacant lots, 7 mobile homes, 4 commercial units,1 multi-family unit and 1 coop sold.

Southern Fort Myers

33912 – 14 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 5 single family homes and 8 condos)
33913 – 21 properties sold (4 vacant lots, 12 single family homes and 5 condos)
33967 – 11 properties sold (1 multi-family unit, 2 vacant lots and 8 single family homes)

Estero

33928 – 49 properties sold (3 mobile homes, 23 vacant lots, 13 single family homes and 10 condos)
33967 – 3 properties sold (2 single family homes and 1 condo)
34134 – 1 property sold (1 condo)
34135 – 3 properties sold (1 single family home and 2 condos)
