Travel + Leisure magazine has listed Naples at No. 3 on its list of “Favorite Beach Towns In America”. Naples is also listed No. 27 on the list of “America’s Favorite Towns” within its 2016 America’s Favorite Places survey. Nearby, Sanibel Island came in ranked No. 4 for best beach towns.

During the the six-month survey, respondents were asked to submit their favorite place and rate it in more than 65 categories. Examples of factors included were affordability, notable restaurants and public parks.

Unlike many beach towns, the city of Naples is primarily single family homes instead of tall high rises. Downtown Naples has more than 10 miles of with sandy white beaches with magical sunsets on a daily basis. Just about everywhere you go, the streets are lined with beautiful palm trees and lush landscaping.

Naples is an ideal beach town if you are looking to relax on the beach, enjoy a little shopping at boutiques along Fifth Avenue South and Third Street, or take in a fabulous meal at one of many local restaurants. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation or place to retire, you can’t beat Naples, Florida.
