Lee County Permits Increased

LEE COUNTY PERMITS INCREASED FOR SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES IN MARCH 2017

During the month of March, the number of Lee County permits pulled for single family homes increased from 100 in 2016 up to 118 in 2017. This represents an 18 percent increase over March of last year. And, the total value of the permits pulled this March for Single Family homes was approximately $27.7 million.

On the other hand, builders pulled 48 condo permits last year versus 18 units this year.

Also, general commercial activity was valued at about $4.2 million for 30 permits, compared with about $5.2 million in February 2017 and about $8.1 million in March 2016.

Finally, Lee County Community Development issued 4,599 permits of all kinds in March.
