Foreclosures Increase in SWFLIn an April report by RealtyTrac, foreclosures increase in SWFL.  According to the report foreclosure activity in Lee County to increased from 651 units to 711 housing units which is a 9.22% increase from March.  It is a 24.96% increase compared to April 2014. Collier County foreclosure activity also increased from March.  There were a total of 195 foreclosures in April versus 170 in March which is a 14.71% increase.  However, it is a 15.95% decrease when comparing April of this year versus last year. Florida had the highest state foreclosure rate in April at nearly 2.5 times the national average. Click HERE to view full report.
